MINNESOTA
Minnesota state building code is the standard that applies statewide for the construction, reconstruction, alteration, and repair of buildings and other structures of the type governed by the code.
Industrialized buildings must comply with state codes including local amendments where applicable. Refer to Bulletin B10.06.14 regarding local code amendments and exemptions.
Refer to SBC-1 101.4.6 and other sections regarding applicability of International Fire Code provisions. Any conflicts between the State Building Codes and the State Fire Safety Codes must be resolved in favor of the stricter standard.
